Gas Flow Meter

Product Overview GFM103

The Gas Flow Meter (SKU: GFM103) is a patented, highly accurate workshop instrument designed for welders and fabricators who require absolute control over their shielding gas environment. Whether you are performing high-precision TIG welding on stainless steel or heavy MIG welding on structural steel, maintaining the correct gas flow at the weld zone is critical to weld quality.

Many welders face a common challenge: their standard tank-mounted gas cylinder pressure indicators only show bottle pressure or flow at the regulator, which does not always match the actual flow coming out of the torch nozzle.

The GFM103 is a portable, direct-measurement tool that you place directly over the welding torch nozzle to verify the exact flow rate where it matters most—at the weld pool. This simple check eliminates guesswork, prevents shielding gas wastage, and acts as a vital quality assurance check in any commercial fabrication shop or home workshop.

Direct Torch Measurement

Standard cylinder regulators only measure pressure at the tank, but this gas flow meter measures flow directly at your torch nozzle. This ensures absolute precision at your weld zone, immediately revealing hidden gas line leaks, regulator calibration errors, or internal torch clogging in seconds.

Dual-Scale Gas Monitoring

Measurements are displayed in both CFH (Cubic Feet per Hour) and LPM (Liters per Minute) scales, giving you the flexibility to work with different procedural specifications and international standards. This versatile dual-scale readout makes it simple to set up, monitor, and adjust flow rates for various high-quality MIG and TIG welding jobs.

Dual Magnetic Stability

The flow meter features a large, sturdy base equipped with two powerful magnets. This allows fabricators to securely mount the device onto any steel welding table, heavy metal cart, or workshop wall, preventing the unit from tipping over during operation and ensuring stable, hands-free verification.

Gray base with a measuring tube and scale for liquid measurements.

Permanent Mount Options

For permanent workstation integration, the base is designed with two mounting slots that perfectly fit M4 screws. This gives you the option to bolt the flow meter securely to non-magnetic surfaces, wooden workbenches, or custom fixtures, keeping your essential testing tool right where you need it.
