Overview
Clamp, hold and locate, anywhere
The TSB-A is the fixturing kit built for the Scout Series. Twelve 5/8" tools in their own pouch, so a sawhorse or table you already own can clamp and locate work like a fixturing table.
Every piece has a 5/8" stud or rail, so it drops straight into the 5/8" holes on a Scout 36, Scout Tripod, Scissor Lift Sawhorse or any Strong Hand Tools 5/8" fixturing table. Clamps to push parts down, pliers to grip them, stops to locate them and V-blocks to cradle round stock.
The whole kit weighs 7.7 lb (3.5 kg) and zips into a 12" × 8" nylon pouch.

Drop the 5/8" rail into a hole and wind the T-handle down. Clamps vertically or horizontally at any height along the rail; the arm lifts off by depressing the spring stop.

Inserta Pliers
Locking pliers on a 5/8" swivel adaptor. The rear crank sets the clamping pressure while locked, so a pre-set opening repeats part after part; the adaptor gives 1.0" (25 mm) of reach in or out.

Scout 36 Sawhorse (TSB366)
This is the kit inside every Scout 36 "12pc Clamping Kit" package. Buy it on its own to fit out a Scout 36, Scout Tripod or Scissor Lift Sawhorse you already have, or to add a second set of tools to a Scout Duo.
The Scout 36 top is a 5/8"-thick nitride-coated steel plate with 5/8" holes on 2" centers, made for Inserta clamps, pins and V-blocks. Sawhorse sold separately.

Every tool has a Ø5/8" stud or rail, so the kit is not tied to the sawhorse. It drops into any Strong Hand Tools 5/8" fixturing hole: the Scout Series, the Alpha 5/8" tables and the Rhino Cart tops.

Straight answers on fit, the Scout 36 bundles, the 16 mm version and the warranty.
- Will it fit my table?
- Yes, if the table has Ø5/8" holes. Every tool in the kit has a 5/8" stud or rail, so it drops into a Scout 36, Scout Tripod, Scissor Lift Sawhorse, Alpha 5/8" table or Rhino Cart top. For tables with 16 mm holes, order the TSBM-A instead.
- Is this the same kit that comes with the Scout 36 packages?
- Yes. The "12pc Clamping Kit" option on the Scout 36 sawhorse is this kit. If you already own a Scout 36 without it, the TSB-A is how you add it.
- What does "12-pc" count?
- The tools. 2 Inserta Clamps, 2 Inserta Pliers, 4 stops and 4 V-blocks make 12. The zip pouch comes with them but is not counted.
- Which Inserta Clamp is in the kit?
- The T-handle UDN5150, 6.5" capacity. The straight-handle (UDWN5150) and ratchet-handle (UERN5200) Inserta Clamps are sold separately if you want to mix in a different handle.
- What is the warranty?
- One year limited warranty, and the kit is eligible for return within 30 days.
